Jamie Henson:
I’m Jamie, a second year on the G403 course. When not trying to figure out how computers work (a battle I’ll inevitably never win) I’m a keen musician, with a bass guitar grafted onto my body many nights a month around Bristol, playing all manner of jazz and funk (and sometimes dubstep, for a slight contrast). I believe that my previous experience in the Goldney Hall JCR and my time as Student President at sixth form before that would make me a solid choice for Treasurer. I’m used to working as a team and generating support, and always enjoy the opportunity to make something great out of a situation. More support and fund-raising = cheaper beer and events – that’s an equation you don’t need to break down semantically. Cheers!

“I will do to the best of my abilities to aid a smooth running society.
Providing a regular financial feedback to the committee and help
allocating fund in events to maximise the benefits to both the members and
society as a whole. I will aim to efficiently manage the assets and in
more practical terms, I aim to save more and provide more. Pizza and beer
will not be missed out!”
